PEEK finger-tight fitting Liquid chromatography 1/16″ fitting
PEEK (polyether-ether-ketone), is a kind of super engineering plastic with many excellent properties like heat resistance, self-lubrication, easy processing and high mechanical strength. PEEK fittings can be directly finger-tight to achieve the sealing effect without using others tools. It serves as a connection with all kinds of 1/16" od tubes, like stainless steel tubes, PEEK tubes and Teflon tubes. There are one-piece fittings and two-piece fittings for different applications. Generally, one-piece finger-tight fittings are more convenient to use, because their built-in ferrules. Two-piece fittings are more suitable for 1/8" od tubes for they can provide a higher-pressure resistance.
